WORLD ORTHOPTIC DAY 2026

This World Orthoptic Day, we asked orthoptists what their favorite part of being an orthoptist is and what they appreciate most about the field. We compiled all the responses and here's what they said:

World Orthoptic Day is a special day for orthoptists to raise awareness about their profession, advocate for patients, and highlight their essential contribution to eye health, amblyopia, and ophthalmic care. World Orthoptic Day unites orthoptists in their shared mission to make a difference in patient’s lives every single day, fighting childhood blindness and helping patients with debilitating double vision and eye misalignments.
